Dear Gabriel,
Art is an experiment. Keep trying different ways of working with the paint. Blue can over take the other colors, especially if it is dark or really wet. I like to use a mixture of thicknesses of paint. Try painting on raw canvas. I apply water sparingly to gessoed canvas as it tend to pool and homogenize. Goo dluck and keep experimenting!
